Advancing the campus culture: showcase your contributions to DE&I

Location: W246 Duncan Student Center (View on map )

Join the Black Faculty and Staff Association for a meeting and lunch-and-learn featuring a presentation by LaTonia Ferguson, Learning & Organizational Development Consultant in the Office of Human Resources. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP so that we can get an accurate count of how many meals to order. We understand that schedules vary, so please join when you can and leave when you must.

Do you create a welcoming environment for students of color in your role? Are you actively working on a campus DE&I committee? Are you speaking up and pushing your team and beyond to continue to develop a more inclusive campus? Is your work directly impacting DE&I? Are you serving in an employee resource group or supporting employees or students of color in other ways?

Those actions and more contribute to the University's culture and should be highlighted in your performance evaluations. In this presentation, LaTonia Ferguson will outline how to tell the whole story of your contributions and impact. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions or get advice about your specific circumstances.
